Wow, these are not only powerful images, the really reinforce each other. I love the symbolic meaning associated with them.
Again, if I look at these as photographic ‘dreams’ they become quite interesting. Or if one simply substituted ‘taking a photograph of’ for ‘dreaming’ you see what I mean.
“To see your own feet in your dream, symbolizes your foundation, stability and sense of understanding. It signifies your need to be more practical and sensible.”
The dress and the bed are also really ‘loaded’ symbols. How about this, “To see or wear a dress in your dream, represents a feminine outlook or feminine perspective on a situation. You are freely expressing your femininity….To see your bed in your dream, represents your intimate self and discovery of your sexuality.”
I just have to say it again, I really love your project and the images that go with it.
Thank you, Christian, for such detailed description! I love those Dreams – Pictures association. Actually, I thought some time ago it might be interesting to illustrate my dreams through photography. Still thinking about it, but didn’t try yet – my dreams sometimes to weird to be pictured:))))
I wonder if you analyzing your own works and what do they say about you!
You are so very welcome. I think doing photos of one’s dreams would be a fantastic project. I think – by definition – dreams are weird. My wife had to do a ‘dream journal’ for one of her classes, [she is getting a degree in Art Therapy] and then write a paper analyzing her dreams, and do an art piece too. She is presenting it today. All this can be quite an emotional exercise.
No—– I have stayed away from analyzing me own work…….
Christian,
You should at least try once to analyse your work or ask someone to do it. The results you can get can be suprisingly true!
Anyways I appreciate the time you take to analyse ours. I am defenity in a time of my life where I will need to get more grounded and stop living in my clouded thougths… Sincerely, Camille
beautiful coordination…
